Unmeasured Rhythm

Texture kicks off its eighth season with Unmeasured Rhythm. Get ready to embrace the beat and feel the pulse of the movement as music and dance weave together for a night of high energy. The run of performances showcases a first for Texture – tap!

With choreography by Artistic Director Alan Obuzor, Texture’s dancers will take you on a rhythmic journey. A fiery new ballet co-choreographed by Mr. Obuzor and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Bartman is also premiering, inspired by Spanish music and culture. Rounding out the program is a new work by New York-based guest choreographer Annalee Traylor.

CHILDREN’S PERFORMANCE – JULY 21 | 4PM

This performance is geared for ages 0-12, but all ages are welcome! This presentation will include a 20-30 minute performance followed by an interactive portion where the children will be invited on stage to participate. The total time is expected to be 40-50 minutes.

This is a great way to expose your young children to dance when you aren’t sure of their reaction or ability to sit still.
