Enjoy an evening the Pittsburgh community has never experienced before. Confluence Ballet Company presents Through the Ages as its final production of our season.
Our all female company will be taking you through a journey of various dance styles and genres through different time periods. See our beautiful company dancers perform “Pas de Quatre” set in the 1840s, the beloved fairies’ variations from “Sleeping Beauty”, a solo choreographed by Artistic Director Léa Havas in memoriam of Marta Munso, new choreography set by Company Apprentice Rebecca Levin exploring movement inspired by Balanchine, new choreography set by Company Artist Jaden Murphy inspired by Lester Horton, and lastly a new ballet set by current Pittsburgh Ballet Theater Soloist JoAnna Schmidt about recognizing our collective purpose and working together in unity.
The company has been overjoyed with all the love and support of our patrons and would like to personally thank you at our “Dashing through the Decades” gala following our show. Get to know the dancers while enjoying small bites. Your favorite cocktails and beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. There will also be exclusive items for auction. Dress to impress in your favorite time period and celebrate the success of Confluence Ballet Company’s second season.
