Texture Contemporary Ballet presents: Infinite Abundance

This summer, Texture Contemporary Ballet proudly opens its milestone 15th season with Infinite Abundance. Infinite Abundance is a rich tapestry of movement, featuring world premieres and returning favorites, all performed by the dynamic artists of Texture Contemporary Ballet. This program reflects the heart and soul of Texture—fifteen years of groundbreaking choreography, fearless exploration, and an unwavering commitment to sharing dance that inspires, challenges, and connects.

The title speaks to the overflowing wealth of creativity within our artists, the abundant support from our audience and community, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead. As we open this celebratory season, we honor the abundance of talent, inspiration, and passion that has fueled us for 15 years—and we invite you to experience that abundance alongside us.

About Texture Contemporary Ballet

Texture Contemporary Ballet is a Pittsburgh-based dance company that fuses the power and precision of classical ballet with the freedom and creativity of contemporary dance to surprise and delight audiences and empower the next generation of dancers and choreographers.

We were founded in 2011 by Alan Obuzor, and since then we have been creating and presenting predominantly new and original dance works for people who love to be inspired through dance. In our work, we enable our artists to take creative risks, and we help our audiences to experience their thoughts and emotions by forming connections through live movement and dance.

Get ready to wiggle, move, and groove! On Saturday, July 12th at 4 PM, bring your family to a one-of-a-kind interactive children’s performance that will spark a lifelong love of the arts. Kids and adults alike will be mesmerized by excerpts of our “Infinite Abundance” show. But the best part? Kids get to join the dancers onstage for a fun, movement-filled experience, learning through participation. It’s a fantastic way to nurture their creativity and build an appreciation for the performing arts. The one-hour performance is perfect for families and geared for ages 10 and under, though all ages are welcome.
