Day Room Window
NINE GIRLS SENTENCED TO ADULT PRISON
A NEW PLAY ABOUT COURAGE, INJUSTICE AND HOPE
Based on the playwright’s true experience, Day Room Window is a bold new play about nine adolescent girls incarcerated as adults in a women’s prison. As the play brings the lives of youth in adult prison out of the darkness, you’ll discover who they are, learn how they got there and experience their individual journeys toward self-discovery and the possibility of salvation. You’ll be drawn into a world of injustice, compassion, courage and hope and feel the power of theatre to illuminate, challenge and engage.
The play’s premiere production features Pittsburgh stage veterans Jennifer Tober, Debra Gordon, John Gresh and David Santiago and nine exciting young female actors.
