Created by director Eric Anderson in 2010, Urban Impact Shakes is a semi-professional summer company which pairs a few professional actors with Urban Impact’s advanced theatre students, ages 13 to 18. Urban Impact is a faith-based non-profit organization created to foster community development on the North Side by changing lives one person, one family, one block at a time.  The organization focuses on helping at-risk kids, youth, and their families by meeting needs academically, spiritually, physically, and socially.
