Educational Opportunities
Creative arts open the door to imagining new possibilities. experiencing professional performances first-hand can empower students to embrace their own creativity and to discover new ways of relating to each other and the world.
Student Matinees
The New Hazlett Theater invites students from regional schools to attend a Community Supported Art matinee performance where the content and artistic process are linked to the curriculum, themes, and ideas that they are exploring in the classroom. After the performance, students engage in an interactive question and answer session where they are encouraged to share their responses directly with the artists and creative team.
Tickets
$5 / student & educator
Schedule
Arrival: 9:30am
Performance Starts: 10:00am
Run Time: 60 minutes
Q&A: 45 minutes
Leaving: 12:00pm
Educators will be provided information regarding show content and links to curriculum and current events prior to each performance.
