Texture Contemporary Ballet opens its fourth season with Life, Love, & Jazz, a celebration of rhythm, style and creativity. This performance series features Texture’s resident dancers, as well as guest dance artists from distinguished companies across the nation.
Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Bartman will present a new piece, and resident choreographer and composer Gabriel Gaffney Smith adds his talents with a new piece for spoken word artists. In addition, Artistic Director Alan Obuzor presents a world premiere dance performance to live jazz music by Marty Ashby and the Manchester Craftmen’s Guild Quartet.
