Gather your party and journey to a realm of magic and mirth as the New Hazlett Theater presents its third Dungeons and Dragons Game Night! Players of all experience levels and backgrounds are welcome to join this incredible experience at one of Pittsburgh’s most castle-like buildings.

Built in 1889 as the first Carnegie Library and Music Hall, our gorgeous theater is equipped with towering turrets and broad stone walls. We even have a dungeon! Well… not really, but it’s still the perfect place for art and adventure. So, come grab a drink at our bar, have a seat at the table of one of our expert Dungeon Masters, and escape into a magical evening you’ll never forget.

New to Dungeons and Dragons?

Don’t worry! Tables for players of all experience levels will be available, and information on how to play will be made available if needed. All players will be sent a questionnaire ahead of the event in order to seat everyone at the table that best fits their experience, play style, and preferred subject matter.

An award-winning operatic soprano whose powerful voice has been heard across major stages in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Inirio made her Carnegie Music Hall debut in NYC in 2025, and brings both heart and technical brilliance to every performance.

Hugo Cruz & Caminos

One of Pittsburgh’s most beloved musical ensembles, known for electrifying percussion, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and cross-cultural musical fusion. Internationally recognized and deeply respected as a musician’s musician, Hugo’s performances ignite joy and movement.

Dr. Kendra Ross

Kendra Janelle Ross, PhD is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and cultural worker whose music lives where soul meets liberation and justice. Blending gospel, jazz, rock, blues, folk, and R&B, her debut album New Voice earned SoulTracks.com’s New Artist of the Year. She’s shared stages with Gregory Porter, Lalah Hathaway, and Babyface, and is now completing This Womanist Work, a powerful new collaborative EP celebrating Black women’s stories through song and sisterhood.

Brendan Williams

It’s the near future, and a nasty virus has shut everything down. Gloria and Jean have no life whatsoever and never leave the house. In a world plagued by isolation, these two middle-aged women living on opposite ends of the country embark on a forbidden romantic journey – constant watch parties bingeing a CW TV show about sexy teen ghosts in love. The farther in they go, season after season, an unsettling question emerges more and more clearly – what does it take to get off the couch?

Rita, a former translator of Italian poetry, and her husband leave New York for remote serenity in the desert. But only she hears a persistent buzz that envelops the landscape and pierces her fresh start. When her tech-optimist neighbor echoes her concern, they set off to discover the elusive sound and restore silence before it explodes her sanity.

There Goes The Bride by Noah Van Ess & Catcher Sanchez

There Goes the Bride is a musical comedy about a caterer who gets stuck working at his ex-girlfriend’s wedding. What follows is a whirlwind of wedding chaos, emotional twists, and show-stopping songs. It’s a heartfelt story about letting go of the past, breaking free from who we thought we had to be, and embracing the unknown.

About the Performance

A queer, zero-gravity world of dance, family, and pop, exploring love, labor, and time with humor, joy, and cosmic imagination.

About the Artist

Erin Kouwe (she/they) is a creator, dance artist, and educator. Her choreography has been presented by Nashville Ballet, the School for Contemporary Dance and Thought, Tennessee Women’s Theater Project, and multiple universities, amongst others. Kouwe has danced with New Dialect, Visceral Dance Chicago, and Luna Negra Dance Theater. She is a certified Countertechnique Teacher and an Assistant Professor of Dance at Slippery Rock University. Kouwe holds an MFA from Smith College and a BA from Point Park University.

1980s Homewood: A middle-class couple will do anything to keep their 7-year-old’s birthday on track—even if it means playing nice with the impossible.

About the Artist

Christine CMC Bethea (she/her) Traveling world wide as a member of a military family, Christine CMC Bethea credits the Midwest and the Far East for a multidisciplinary aesthetic that includes visual art, digital content, and journalism. CMC Bethea’s work as a creative has been archived in the Library of Congress, and has received several prestigious awards for arts collaboration and administration. She currently serves as a City of Pittsburgh Art Commissioner and wrote her first play, Birthday at Tiffany’s, as a Community Artist Scholar Awardee with the August Wilson Archives.
