SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day features world premiere works by Pittsburgh’s female musicians, dancers, poets, theatre artists, visual artists, filmmakers, and fashion designers. What makes No Name Players’ SWAN Day event especially unique is that every work is inspired by interviews with girls and women from the Pittsburgh area.
Founded in 2008, SWAN is an international holiday honoring women in the arts. SWAN Day Pittsburgh 2013 will feature:
